PON ENGLISH FOR YOU Basic Course Outline

1. Introduction to the course.
· What we will accomplish intermediate to upper intermediate level.
· English Skills in speaking, writing. Reading comprehension, listening.
· How we will accomplish these goals:
· Through use of the internet, reading and participation in a blog, email, and internet research.
2. Class sessions are from 17:00 until 20:00 every Monday and Thursday.
· Calendar schedule from 26th of February to 4th of June 2009.
· There will be one 15 minute break.
· Homework will be given through reading assignments for comprehension.
3. Open class discussions are encouraged.
4. Use of natural English skills, day to day language usage.
5. Expressions, idiomatic phrases, telling stories, explaining situations.
6. Increase vocabulary word list.
7. Improve communication skills from yes / no answers to having a great conversation.
8. How to respond to request and making an inquiry.
